The odometer check transit departed Eastgate Park and Ride, followed I-90 West, I-405 North, 522 North to the Maltby area on Broadway. Classic roads were enjoyed in a generally Northwest direction, to a checkpoint on High Bridge Road. Leg two dipped down onto the flats on Crescent Lake Road and Tulalco Loop followed by a transit through Monroe on Main (many cars delayed by train), across highway 2 into the dark north of Monroe. After traversing the twisties a bit a checkpoint was found on Trombley road. Leg 3 proceeded North, a transit through Snohomish on delightful roads culiminating on Home Acres road near the Hewitt Trestle. From this final checkpoint it was a quick transit on Highway 2, to Interstate 5 to Pizza Hut at 128th Street in South Everett.
Overall the route was about 69 miles and 95 minutes. There were 21 competitors, 21 finishers.
