RASC Snowflake

Rainier Auto Sports Club

The famous touring rally in Washington State called the "Evergreen State
1000" returns September 19-20, after a year off. It'll be somewhat less than
620 miles, but still about 30% gravel. The start and finish will be in
Wenatchee.
Entry fee is $120, including dinner for 2 at the overnight stop in Okanogan.

Course:  Whoopee!   Suitable for most cars, although the usual warnings about
good tires apply. No ugly gravel, but no one likes to change tires with cars
raising dust 10 feet from the activity. No tours or unnecessary stops, just
miles of secret, gorgeous roads.
Rainier Auto Sports Club will use the somewhat generic rules for passage
control events,  with care to make sure no one can exit the correct route and
end up out of gas, in the desert.

Schedule: September 1, Pre-Registration opens. E-mail accepted by the Mark
Nolte, RALLYMASTR@aol.com. The registrar is Gretchen Jones- (425)823-8329. We
anticipate less than 25 entrants, and can personalize the registration

(Novices will get some additional explanations.)
