Club History

Rainier Auto Sports Club was formed in 1967 with about 20 members and has stayed that way ever since, with rallying as its only advocacy and all the other forms of motorsport deemed to be a fringe area.

The club history is long but not well documented.  Actually, it is well documented but only in the hearts, minds and dusty storage boxes of those people who have run our rallies or been members of the club.  Over time we hope to bring some of that history together on this web site for all to enjoy.
