Official Washington State Speedometer Check Sections
Knowing the accuracy of your odometer and speedometer is very important to your
success in TSD rallying as you try to push your scores down toward zero. One
good place to calibrate is at an official speedometer check section. Be sure
to check both your odometer and your speedometer as they will likely be off by different
factors.
This is the list of speedometer check stations maintained by the Washington State DOT.
- Northbound I-5 from Milepost 145 to 150 - South of Southcenter
- Northbound I-5 from Milepost 210 to 215 - North of Arlington
- Southbound I-5 from Milepost 224 to 219 - South of Mt. Vernon
- Southbound I-5 from Milepost 158 to 153 - South of Southcenter
- Westbound I-90 from Milepost 261 to 255 - West of Spokane and Cheney
- Eastbound I-90 from Milepost 255 to 261 - West of Spokane and Cheney
